What to Expect
on your first visit to West Valley
Visiting any church for the very first time can be an awkward experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to West Valley will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, Christ-exalting music and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"!
You Should Know...
First, none of us “have it all together”—That’s probably why we make such a close family, because we all have our own struggles
Second, we’re not evaluating you—When you walk in, we’re just glad to see you! Don’t worry about having to “measure up” or “fit in.” None of us really measure up, and we’re all very different. Our family is very diverse, so fitting in isn’t an issue. Our church is a wonderful mixture of young couples, singles, families with children, teens, and senior saints as well.
Third, we believe and teach what the Bible actually says and why it matters—We open the Bible and apply it to real life in the 21st century—and it makes a difference!
Fourth, there are other new faces—West Valley is a growing church so new faces are normal here! We’re all getting to know each other and finding our place in this growing body of loving, Christian friends.
Finally, we really are just regular, friendly people—We’re like you—working hard, striving towards healthy relationships, and glad to have some good friends who also have faith in Jesus Christ.
